Hi All,

Hello

Hmmm... I hope this doesn't count as noise...

No, actually, they are very good questions.

Aside from the original animatiopn/manga/story as a basic structure for
the fanfics created, are there any othe sources of inspiration for the
fanfic writers? Anyone care to share their feelings?

Actually, I have several sources of inspiration. Of course, I've also
lived a strange life meeting a lot of strange people along the way. In
order, the sources of inspiration that I have are:

1) The people that I have met in my life.

2) The talking sesions that I have had with several people in several
    weird places.

3) People who write into me and ask me questions.

4) Reading the stories made by good writers.

5) My own skills, which are not very many.

Or are all of the fanfic writers simply talented and this question just
noise waiting to get deleted? *nervous*

I disagree. There are a lot of talented writers, but I am not one of
them. This is more a way for me to go on a little ego trip.

I'm asking because I'm interested in fanfics, but I don't know quite
how to go about starting one... lack of imagination I guess...

Take a tape recorder, ten to twenty hours of tape, and then walk around
where you are comfortable recording anything that comes to your mind.

Oh well, any tips, experiences, or comments welcomed.

No tips or advice other than to trust the fans as they are the ones who
know more about the continuity of what you write than you do.
