Yes, I am still writing it, and am currently working on chapter seven. It 
isn't going well, but I'll get it done and do a rerelease which corrects 
several minor glitches etc.

Not ftp.std.com, but the fanfic-ML archives (ftp.ranma.net I *think*), 
but the version there is the same one you have. I will not be posting it 
to r.a.a.s. until it is finished completely

Yep, newsgroups are often abreviated as their first letters delimited 
by periods.
