Well, I'm new to this list and this seems like a nice way to say Hi.

Name: Jeff Rutsch

Looks: Blond, six and a half feet tall, somewhere between an early Beatle 
and Jesus type hair.

Age: 19

Favorite Anime: The Soaps: Ranma/anything Takahashi, OMG!, Robotech 
(don't hurt me), Orange Road, Sailor Moon.  I've only been a fan for about 
half a year, but I've gotten pretty hardcore already.

School: UC Davis Computer Science and Engineering, with a Music Minor.

Why I write fanfic: It provides my anime fix and doesn't cost anything!  
I've written "Take off Your Clothes" (don't hurt me), "Tales of Ranma & 
Nabiki", and some Star-Trek Ranma crossover.  "The Search For Ranma"???  
Currently working on R&N 4 and "An Ukyou to Remember", set 7 years in the 
Ranma future.

Other interests: I play a few musical instruments for fun, clarinet for 
school.  I like programming.  I am a HUGE Paul McCartney/Beatles fan 
(Beataku???) and my anime bootleg collection is rivaled only by my 
collection of Beatles bootlegs.  I am trying (with very limited success) 
to learn Japanese.  Also play Tennis quite a bit.

Well, whatever.  Anyway, I am writing the series "Tales of Ranma & Nabiki",
anybody care to offer an opinion or anything on the series?  Yes, I know 
Akane can't swim like she did in #3...I have seen only the Viz videos, a 
few Nettouhen, and one manga, so the only experience with her not 
swimming was the ice-skating episode, and I have NO memory so I forgot 
about that.  My proof readers (apartment-mate and my sister) are only casual 
Ranma fans.  Plan on having an improved version posted alongside #4, 
although I feel kinda dumb about it.  I like the series, but there was a 
dramatic decrease in response to #3, so I'm wondering if it's the 
swimming scene, if the plot was less enjoyable, or if I just didn't grovel 
for responses well enough ^_^.
