I'm in complete agreement with you Dan.  Lately, I've been deleting 95% of
all of the non-story posts I get from this ML, and lately it's been
especially because of the mud-flinging and tantrums that have been
occurring. I got so sick of scanning through pointless bickering, that now I
usually check the first post in a theme, and then base my decision whether
or not to spend my eyesight on reading the responses on that.  Arbitrary,
perhaps, but sadly necessary.  

But let's keep the fanfic list for just that, fanfic.  Discussion of

currently >being written ones, requests for information and comments on soon
to be ones, >even intelligent discussions of old gems.
