So I thought that, just for the hell of it, I'd toss out the idea: what 
about turning the ML into an alt. newsgroup?  With the amount of daily 
traffic, there's more than enough justification for one.  Creating it 
would be child's play.  Someone who knows how could set up a gateway 
between the ML and the group, so that the ML could still be used by 
those unable to receive the group.

What do you think?  It's just an idea.  No flames, please.  :-)

Doesn't the RFD for the proposed RAA reorganization already call for a
discussion group attached to RAAS (or whatever they end up calling it?)
