"Pain," Ryoga muttered.

"I'm getting sick of this Ryoga! For the last time, what are you talking
about?"

"Shut up Ranma," Ryoga threatened as he took a step toward him.

Ranma turned away from Ryoga and began to walk away. At this point Ranma
was too frustrated to continue this argument, so, weather Ryoga liked it or
not, he was leaving.

"Yea, whatever, I'm going home, I'll see you there, if you can find you
way," Ranma told Ryoga as he approached the entrance of the alley.

Ryoga would not stand for this, he was way beyond the point of grief,
frustration, and anger. He wanted nothing more than to destroy Ranma, to
make him feel even a fraction of what he was feeling. He saw Ranma turn his
back to him, now was his chance he decided. He ran behind Ranma and grabbed
his left shoulder, ready to inflict some serious damage, but this time,
Ranma was ready for the attack.

Ranma latched onto Ryoga's arm and shifted his weight to throw him off
balance. Once this was accomplished, Ranma used all his strength and threw
Ryoga over his shoulder.

This time it was Ryoga that was outside the alley, and he was not happy
about it. He leapt to his feat and without a word, charged back into the alley.

Ranma held his ground as Ryoga charged at him. This time Ryoga attacked
high, but Ranma was nowhere in sight. Ranma had ducked and extended his
leg, which just as predicted, Ryoga half tripped over.

Ryoga didn't just fall on the ground when he tripped over Ranma's leg, no,
he began to stumble forward, unable to regain his balance, unable to stop,
unable to avoid smacking face first into a wall. Ryoga hit the wall with a
*THUD*. He just stood there, leaning face first against the wall, not
moving, not talking, just half-standing, face glued to the wall.

Ranma slid back to an upright position, he began to think that Ryoga was no
better than he ever was, he just got lucky before. *Hell, even Ryoga can get
a lucky punch or two in. Well, it looks like I beat him, again, better check
to see if he's ok. * Ranma walked up to Ryoga's motionless body and taped
him in the side.

Ryoga had waited for Ranma to get to him, he knew Ranma would want to gloat
over his victory, that would be his downfall he thought. So when Ranma
poked him in the chest, he sprung, catching Ranma half-off guard. He turned
his body toward Ranma, ducked down, and lunched a powerful uppercut at Ranma.

Ranma was able to avoid getting hit in the head by the blow, but his chest
was not so lucky. The punch connected with a *SNAP* and Ranma staggered
back clutching his chest. Ryoga was on him in a flash, now wanting to allow
him to recover when he had the upper hand.

*Thwack, Slam, Crack*

And Ranma was spread out on the floor in front of Ryoga. Ranma had a small
trail of blood escaping from his nose, and his right eye was swollen and
throbbing. His chest didn't feel any better, Ranma believed he had a broken
rib, or worse. Ranma knew he was wrong, Ryoga was better than he has ever
been before. Ranma knew if he was to win, hell, if he was to escape with
his life, he had better start improving, and start improving fast.
