Careful Destiny, probably ranks up there as one of the best fanfics out 
here today.  There's almost nothing for me to say about it.

The grammar, spelling, factual, events and details aspect of it were all 
perfect.  I think I noticed *one* wordo in the whole thing.  There were 
no factual errors, displacements, that sort of thing for me to pick at.

The storyline flows very well, it's well paced and fluid.  The only part 
of the story flow that seemed kinda sticky, was the opening sections 
where Ranma makes the wish.  I wrote this off, as that part was an 
adpatation from the original "Becareful What You Wish For" story and 
reworking someone else's material into your own style is far harder that 
writing your own material.  Besides that, the story line and plot flowed 
seamlessly throughout the rest of the chapter.

Plot and Character thoughts:

Unusually enough, I actually read this fanfic within a few days of it's 
posting and can actually make real comments about its future.

Ranma - His characterization is essentailly unchanged.  However, the fact 
that he's mature both in action and though AND realizes the mistakes he's 
made in his "previous" life is a bit unsettling.  The author notes 
covered this point fairly well, but I think it would add a lot to the 
story if it were covered within the story, by either having Ranma talk 
with Ranko about it, or as introspection on the part of Ranma.  Also, 
another reason to this change in Ranma is that since his "twin" had a 
more normal life, his current "person" is just more mello(?).

Akane - She's going to have a much more different characterization, as 
obviously since she didn't fight her engagement to Kuno, she is a 
different person in this world.  A possibility for this fact could be
that Soun is a stronger person in this world or that perhaps her mother 
didn't die in this universe.  *OR* another possibility is that she's the 
one's who the Juysenko(sp?) curse. 

Nabiki & Kasumi - Didn't see much of them in the first chapter, but if 
Akane is more mello, then obviously they would be too.  Though I wouldn't 
like to see their characters too much, but a bit more mello on Nabiki's 
part and a bit less oblivious on Kasumi's.

Ranma vs. Akane - Obviously their whole relationship is going to be 
different, but I think that Akane is still going to be *very* ticked when 
she finds out what Ranma and Soun cooked up.

Ryouga - Can't see him as a key character is this fanfic, as he never had 
a dual with Ranma in middle school.  Isn't cursed and never even fought 
Ranma in fact.  *BUT* he could be in love with Ranko, which would make 
things *very* interesting, especially if Ranma takes a dislike to him.  
(Who ever likes the guys who hit on your sister?)

Ukyou - Can't see her in here either, but it's possible that she could be 
introduced into the storyline now, I have no clue how.
