Okay, perhaps I was a bit harsh on the characterization, but
I still stand by all of my comments.

As for the Nodaka question, she should at least have felt
some love for Ranma after realizing that her grandchild was
born.  In canon, then she could have raised the child "correctly"
without Genma's influence.
