This is important enough I feel to send to you all. Thanks
Dear colleagues:
It is this time of year again. A neo-Nazi group is applying to set up
a user group on the Usenet, specifically directed at young people. It
will use a site called rec.music.white-power.
My feeling is that we have enough problems as it is and anyone of
these hate groups worsen an already unhappy situation.
We have a chance to vote on this. A third, impartial, party will
count votes on this and if the "No" votes outnumber the "Yes" votes,
then the Usenet group cannot be installed.
How to vote ? Very simple:
Send a message to: music-vote@sub-rosa.com
with the single message "I vote No on rec.music.white-power"
Do not vote twice as this will invalidate the vote
Please pass on this message if you feel inclined in this way
If you forward the message, I suggest you edit it to strip all the
previous addresses because otherwise it gets unwieldy and clogs up
the lanes.
Cheers, Michael
