I love Anne McCaffrey too! I own almost all her books, most in hardcover.
My favorite series is the Firelizard Series... with Menolly... and I 
liked "Moreta" and "Nerilka's Story" the best out of the Dragon novels.
Also... you should read that new little story she just put out in hardback
called "An Exchange of Gifts" it is so sweet :)!

I own all of Anne's books that she wrote as herself, and a 'few' of the
joint author books.  A good friend of mine, and her husband, are Weyr
Leaders of one of the first fan Weyrs established soon after "White Dragon"
was published.  If you've noticed the "Thread Fall" charts, printed in some
of the later novels, X*'s husband Y* designed them for Anne.  In fact,
thanks to them, I have a personally inscribed copy of "White Dragon" hidden
away.  X* has also has Anne's private email address and corresponds with her
several times a week.  Two years ago X* and her husband were fortunate
enough to spend several days visiting Anne at her farm in Ireland.  [She's
still bragging about that one! ^_^]

Personally, "Restoree" and "Decision on Doona" are my favorite books,
followed closely by the first three  *Dragons of Pern* novels.  One piece of
news you might like is that Anne just completed another new Pern book, which
is in late beta form right now.  I think it will be published this summer or
