By the way, to get vaguely on-topic, I need fanfic advice.  If you were, 
say, Ranma, and you had to deliver a package to Ukyou's village that was, 
say, the size of a coffin (to pick something at random), how would you 
get there?  Plane, train, car?

Ukyou doesn't have a village.  Or do you mean Shampoo?

No, I mean the place she grew up.  I'm not that familiar with the story,
so I don't know if it's a town or what...

Frankly, Ranma couldn't afford to do anything but walk and Swim wherever 
he's taking whatever he is taking :)

I think that he would want this package (whatever it may be) to be cared
for.  I believe that Nabiki might even pony up the money for transport,
given the circumstances.

Not that there are any circumstances.  Nope.  Uh-uh.
