What's with all this hatred and ripping of a valid character of the
series?
Look, I think it's slightly unfair that Shampoo gets so much crap.
I am not saying she is the best character or anything, but she is a
character who I think adds to the story very well.
And I am still not convinced that Shampoo is _STUPID_
Like someone pointed out a little while ago, Shampoo certainly knows more
Japanese than Genma and Ranma knows chinese :P
How many ppl would feel comfortable suddenly moving to a country where one
isn't familiar with the language?
I know how that feels like and frankly don't find it amusing to rant on
how a person speaks, whether it is due to syntax or pronounciation.
Like someone said, " Remember that a person with an accent knows one more
language than you do" :P
And let's not belittle the village's customs.
Just because they are different from the rest of the world doesn't make
them invalid.
Does anyone realize that the japanese custom of arrange marriages are just
as foreign to the western world as the village's custom of marring the
male victor?
Ranma basically had no choice in either of the arragements :P
If you feel like bashing Shampoo, lets bash everyone the same amount :P
I really dislike this whole "AKane is great, Akane is wonderful, Akane is
sweet, AKane is cute, AKane is the best..." tirade :P
