	I'm not sure, but I honestly think it's a case of Shampoo not 
beleiving (or more precisely not _wanting_ to believe) that Ranma 
honestly prefers a marginally attractive, clumsy, unskilled, abusive 
little harridan like Akane over herself.  I figure that if Ranma told 
'Poo in no uncertain terms that he is in love with Akane (unlikely 
concidering that he can barely admit it to himself) she would leave him 
be after the initial paroxym(sp?) of grief/rage.
