hat 3d controller" (or whatever) that pretty much made that intro in the

and by the way, cooly hats are like this...you have a joystick, on top of
it or on the sides are these four-way-thumb-switches.  they look like little
hats you flip around in with your thumb.  they are used for looking around,
sliding, etc etc in the respective direction you press them in.  usually
used for 3-d games like descent/flight simulator
