And who did you ask? What did you do for research? Or would you rather
just make bald assertions as you did before?

I asked the people who would know. The police departments in Kyoto. I
also made enquiries to individuals within the investigations units at
come of the police sites.

What a charmlingly veiled way of calling anyone who disagrees with you a
liar.

I wasn't specifying you. If you want to know, ask WW. I told him what
happened and I will not say any more.

In other words, instead of standing up for your opinions and knowlege,
you're going to take your toys and go home? No one is allowed to
disagree with you about your home nation? Isn't that the same attitude
you attacked Americans for having?

Actually, I am removing myself from this, since these comments were not
wanted by others.

I have never claimed to know anything useful about Japanese language, as
far too many people can tell you.

As for the other issues, all I can say is that few people are qualified
to see the flaws in their own nation. I certainly never said you were an
idiot or that I was some sort of god-like authority. If you choose to
interpret my disagreement with you in that manner, that's your problem.

This is true. That is why I researched the situation.

However,, the disagreement with you is not why I am removing myself from
this. I can understand disagreements, and in fact like to try to get as
much understanding out of it as possible, (Just ask Jeanne), but I
appologize to you since it was not my intention to seem as though I was
attacking you.
