He's publically threatened to do this in the past to newly formed groups
that he didn't like.  Of course, every time he's said something like that
and got called on it, he's also said something like 'people ought to know
something said satirically when they read it'. Of course, he's doesn't use
'emoticons', so how you're supposed to know if he's kidding or not I don't
know....

Easy.  I know of three bots that do nothing but cancel rmgroup messages in
the alt.* heirarchy(sp).  Anytime anyone says they'll remove an alt group,
they're eitehr kidding, or really stupid.  He's not stupid.
