Gotta hand it to ya, it's pretty good. :)

  He made a fist.  The hand still felt weird.  When he moved it he could
feel the servos moving.  It felt smoother than normal motion.  He looked
at the read out on the "free" diagnostic meter they'd given him.

   Shades of the end of "Empire Strikes Back". :)

   I love the computer displys sprinkled throughout the story. Really adds
something....I think Matt is the first person to write a fanfic with
visual effects. :) The constant "Genom wil add...to your bill" was a nice
underscore of dark humor.
   Steep bill. Very steep bill. And the poor sap loses his comfort-hole to
boot. (NO, you hentais, I'm talking about the apartment. :P) I'm really
starting ta feel bad for the poor kid.
   Well, only a little.
   I'll be waiting for more. The "Aftermath" review is still in progress -
I'd have finished by now if it weren't for Smoke and Mirors.
