Chapter 3: Sailor Moon squared
(Christmas special!)

1. Int. rei's temple. Day.
Rei is standing on a stepladder, trying to tack up some streamers. Usagi, Mako-
to, Minako, ami, mani, boni,toni, Shira, Shoko, and the real Mamoru are all
rushing around, putting up Christmas decorations.
Mamoru: Really, Rei. Don't you think you're over doing it a bit too much?
Rei: Nonsense! There's no such thing as overdoing it too much!
Usagi: What ever.
Ami: I think we need to go out and get a tree before they're all gone.
Rei: Hmm... I think so too. Hey, Mani, Boni, Toni, Mamoru, could you guys go
out and get a small tree for us to decorate?
Mani: Sure.
Mani, boni, Toni, and Mamoru exit and start walking down the walkway and off
toward the street.
Ami: I can't believe it's actually Christmas Eve!
Shira: Yeah. Let's just hope nothing spoils it.
Shira hangs up a little golden star.
Shoko: It's too bad Mom can't make it.
Shira: yeah.
Shoko sighs.
Shoko: We need to go back and get them.
shira: I know, but we can't go now. It would take us quite a long time. When
we know that we can take the time when we won't be ambushed, we can go, but in
the meantime, we need to concentrate on helping the senshi defend.
Shoko: I know, I know. I just wish we could go get Mom...
Minako: You guys really want your mother to show up, don't you?
Shira: What ever gave you that idea....? (NOTE: this is in a sarcastic voice)
Ami: I wish we could help, but we don't know how.
Shoko: We know.
Shira: Sho, could you pass me that thing over ther? (points to a picture of
Santa sneaking toys past two little kids)
Shoko nods and hands the picture to Shira, and she tacks it up on the wall.
2. Int. A Gayly Decorated and Rebuilt Serenity Keep. Day.
Sailor Calypso stands marveling at the decorations that are hung up all around
the castle.
Sailor Calypso: Is all very beautiful. Too bad we have no Christmas tree to
decorate too.
Sailor Charon: I doubt we could find one here. Maybe we should go down to the
earth and see if we can buy one?
Sailor Calypso's uniform fades into a long dress with long sleeves and a pair of
black shoes. her short, pink hair lies straight, like Ami's.
Yoshiko: Wai! A trip to Earth! See Tuxedo Kamen again!
Sailor Charon's uniform fades into a pair of paints and a longsleeved shirt,
with a pair of white shoes. Her long, black hair hands in a pony tail.
Nanika: Well, let's be off!
A little bubble surrounds the two and it zooms to earth.
3. Christmas Tree Lot. Day.
Nanika and Yoshiko land softly on the ground in the middle of the trees.
Yoshiko: Is nice place, ne, Nanika?
Nanika nods. She looks around, and just through the branches, she spies Boni,
Mani, and Toni.
Boni: (seeming far off) Hey, Mamoru, what about this one? (points to a rather
large tree)
Mamoru: I don't know.. Are you sure it would fit in the temple?
Boni: You're right. WHat about this? (points to a slightly smaller, but still
large tree)
Mamoru: I don't think so. this one looks nice. (goes over to a medium sized
tree)
Toni: Yeah. That would be perfect. Especially if Rei goes on a decorating
spree.
Nanika: Hey, isn't that Boni?
Yoshiko: Hai. why you ask?
Nanika: (yelled over to Boni) Hey! Boni! When did you start lookin' for a
tree?
Boni: Nanika? Nanika, is that you? What're you doing here?
Nanika: Yoshiko wanted a Christmas tree for the keep.
Toni: Well, that explains it. I doubt there are trees near there now.
Mani: What a nice surprise. Where is the rest of the team?
Nanika: They're still back at the keep.
Mamoru: Why don't you come back with us to the temple. I'm sure Shira and
Shoko would like to see you guys.
4. Int. Rei's temple. Day.
Mamoru, Toni, Mani, Boni, Yoshiko, and Nanika step in carrying a tree. Mani is
cursing at the bill that she is holding in her mouth.
Mani: Sfoovid phill! 3000 yen for one Twistmas free!
Boni: Don't feel bad. I had to chip in too.
Mani spits out the bill.
Mani: Yeah, but still! That's highway robery!
Toni: Quit your griping. At least it wasn't 6000 yen.
Boni: No kidding!
Shira looks up from some ice cream.
Shira: Oh, hi guys! Why're Nanika and Yoshiko here?
Yoshiko: We came for tree for the Keep!
Toni looks at the ice cream and reads the label out loud.
Toni: "'Nilla Chocolate Pecan Rocky Cream Ice Cream"? Where'd you get that,
Shira?
Shira: Makoto found it stuck in the back of her frige. She gave it to me a bit
ago, I just didn't want to eat it.
Makoto: But recently, she's been munching nonstop.
Shoko: She won't be eating for much longer. The tubs almost empty.
SHira: When it's empty, we'll just go get another.
Shoko: with what money?
Shira gulps down the last of it.
Shira: You have a point...
Minako: I'd loan you some...
Shira: Really?
Minako: ...if I had my wallet with me.
Shira: oh...
4. ext. a gayly decorated Serenity Keep. Day.
S. Metis is sitting alone by a fire. It's her day of guard duty. She sighs.
Sailor Metis: Bored, bored, bored. This really bites. I hate guard duty.
There is a crunch sound. Sailor Metis quickly gets to her feet and turns.
s. Metis: Who goes?
The shadowy figure: (NOTE: this is a female voice, it sounds similar to Usagi's)
I am.. (steps out of the shadows, removes her hood and shakes her vibrant red
hair in atempt to get rid of her hood-hair) ..Sailor Moon, of 3021.
S. Metis: How do i know that you really are Sailor Moon?
Sailor Moon: I just wish to warn my daughters of someone who will soon come.
Sailor Metis: I don't know that I can trust you.
Sailor Moon: I see. They don't appear to be here anyway, so I may as well go
to earth.
Sailor Moon fades out.
S. Metis:That was strange...
5. Ext. Rei's Temple. Day.
sailor Moon's fuku bursts into red ribbons that melt away. the blue covers of
the 'odango' on her head disappear, and she is now wearing a rather nice dress.
A soft breeze picks up and her medium length ponytails, hanging from her odango,
blow slightly.
Usagi Bino: Wow. Shoko and Shira do have good taste.
Usagi Bino climbs the stairs and steps onto the temple's front porch.
cut to:
6. Int. Rei's temple. Day.
There is a soft rap on the door.
Rei: Come on in! The door's open to anybody who wants to join our party!
The door opens and Usagi Bino steps in. Her gaze lands directly on Usagi, who
is pigging out on the snacks Makoto fixed. the part of the screen above and
below Usagi Bino's eyes becomes tinted in blue. she gasps. Usagi looks back
after the tint goes away.
Usagi: Hey! That's my hairstyle.
Usagi Bino: Is not! It's my mother's!
Shoko and shira look up. They stare at Usagi Bino for a moment, then they get
up and run to her, embracing her, Shira at her waist, Shoko slightly above
Shira.
Shira: Mommy! You made it for Christmas!
Usagi Bino: I'd never miss out on my daughters' first Christmas on earth, since
they were born. You should know that, Shira.
Shoko: We thought the morphers would get to you before you could make it.
Usagi: Who in the world are you? And where do you get off copying _my_ hair-
style?
Usagi Bino: I'm Usagi Bino. I used to be Usagi Serenity, but when I married, I
took my husband's last name.
Usagi: But Usagi is _my_ name!
Usagi Bino: May I ask you a question?
Usagi: Okay, go ahaed.
Usagi Bino: Are you Sailor Moon? I know that may seem blunt, but I must know.
Usagi: What would you do if I said yes?
Usagi Bino's 35 year old features take on a soft smile.
Usagi Bino: i would not betray the secret our family has sworn to keep.
Shira: Yeah, She's Sailor Moon. And all these people except for the io team,
Nanika, Yoshiko, and Mamoru are the inner senshi.
Usagi Bino smiles.
Usagi Bino: I knew you would find them.
Rei: Hey, If you're related to Usagi, and you have Sailor Moon powers too, why
weren't they passed on to Shoko and Shira?
Usagi Bino: I married someone who was not related to a senshi, thinning the
powers a bit. Now they transform into only one moon, and are less potent. I
sent them and the rest of the Moon Senshi to the past so they would not be
slain by our soul enemies, the Sisters of Corruption.
Ami: The past?
Boni nods.
Boni: We are from the year 3021.
Mamoru: 3021?
Mani nods.
Makoto: Oh boy...
Minako: I can tell this is going to take a bit.
Usagi Bino: But, even though I would love to go in-depth, I have buisness to
take care of. The Sisters of Corruption are coming. I know becaus Okane*
followed me to this time.
[*Okane, meaning money in english, will be refered to as both versions of the
name.]
Usagi: Money? What does she do? Throw razor edged yen around?
Usagi Bino looks drop-dead-serious.
Usagi: Oh.
Usagi Bino: She wields an ivory war fan made of yen, as well as throwing razor-
edged money about.
Mamoru: Sounds like trouble.
Chibi-Usa steps in from the kitchen. She carries with her a plate of piping
hot cookies, and some cups of hot cocoa.
Usagi Bino: Shoko, I want you to do something for me.
Shoko: Sure. What do you want?
Usagi Bino: Leave your opal with Luna. Don't ask why, just do it the next time
you see her.
Shoko: Okay...
Mani is staring out the window at the moment. Her eyes focus, then refocus.
then, her eyes widen. O.O
Mani: Okane! She's here! And she has a Morpher with her. It's not Intsu or
Inma, or any other. It must be from the future!
Usagi Bino: I know you can't take them on. You must go. If they do not see
you, they will not find you. Now go! I'll try to hold them off.
Toni: B-but why? What do we have that they want?
Usagi Bino: You will find out soon enough, now _GO_! Moon Sparkle, Make Up!
Chibi-Usa, Toni, BOni, Mamoru, Ami, Mani, Shira, Usagi, Shoko, Makoto,
and Minako make a b-line for the back exit. As they leave, Usagi Bino's
clothes melt away. She closes her eyes and snaps her fingers. The first part
of her uniform forms, trimmed in gold. She snaps them again, and her boots
form, trimmed in gold as well. Once again, she snaps her fingers and her
gloves form trimmed in gold. She snaps them again, and her skirt and bow
forms, both trimmed in gold, too. Finally, she snaps them once more, and her
tiara, earrings, and blue coverings of her 'odango' are in place. She smiles
and strikes a typical sailor Moon pose.
Sailor MOon: Halt, Okane!
Okane: Ha! So, we meet again, Sailor Moon! I shall be sure to finish you off
this time! Okane Soul Strike!
Okane's ivory fan glows white. She waves it at Sailor Moon and sends a ball of
white energy towards her. She takes a bit of the blast, but manages to avoid
most of it.
Okane: Grr... WHere'd she go?
Sailor Moon appears behind Okane. She taps her shoulder. Okane whirsl around,
her BRIGHT red hair swirling.
Sailor Moon: I'm right here, Money.
Okane: You won't get away! Okane Soul Strike, Tsunami-strike!
Okane waves her fan at Sailor Moon and sends a great wave of energy towards
her. She tries to dodge, bet gets caught with the brunt of the blast.
Sailor Moon: Aah!
She gets blown back.
Okane: Hahaha! You won't get away, like I said.
Sailor Moon: I wil get away! Moon Light Blast!
Sailor Moon crosses her arms across her chest. she then opens them and sends
a wave of enrgy towards Okane. She holds up her fan and blocks most of the
energy.
Okane: Give up! You can't defeat me! Even if you tried, you couldn't do it.
Sailor Moon: Never! Not when my children depend on me so much.
Sailot Moon (Usagi) jumps down, followed by Sailor Io.
Sailor Io: Mom! I thought you could use some help!
Sailor Moon (Usagi Bino): Io! I told you to go for a reason!
S.M.(Usagi): SHe's got me to protect her, so you shouldn't worry. And I just
got my sceptere back from Sailor Phobos.
okane: Morpher Maoi, go take care of those two.
Morpher Maoi nods. She forms into a giant elephant and procedes to try and
trample the two. Sailor Moon pulls out her scepter.
S.M.(Usagi): Moon Princess Halation!

The elephant crumbles, and turns to ash.
S.M.(Usagi): Moon dusted!
S.M.(Usagi Bino): Good work, Sailor Moon.
Sailor Io pulls out her gem and it turns into her staff.
Sailor Io whacks Okane as she tries to grab S.M.(Usagi Bino).
Sailor Io: Don't even think about it, Okane Kanjo.
Okane: Buzz off!
Okane pulls out a yen. She concentrates and it glows whitish, like her fan.
She tosses it at Sailor Io. It sticks to her arm, and she screams as the
energy transferes into her body. S.M.(Usagi) rips it off and tosses it back
at Okane, who is unnefected by the energy. Sailor Io now has a large burn
mark on her arm, where the yen stuck.
Sailor Io: Owieowieowie....
S.M.(usagi): Are you okay?
Sailor Io: Yeah. Thanks... (Thought:) Grandma...
Okane jumps away.
Okane: I'll be back!
S.M.(Usagi Bino): Are you sure you're okay, Shoko?
Sailor Io: Yeah, I'm sure, mom.
Sailor Io's uniform fades into her regular clothing, and both Sailor Moons'
uniforms dissapear in a burst of red ribbons. Chibi-Usa peers around the tree,
then hops out from behind it after she decides it's safe.
Usagi: Careful, Chibi-Usa. Okane might come back.
Usagi Bino: Chibi-Usa? That's what my mother used to call me when I was a kid!
She peers at Chibi-Usa, then looks at a picture in her pocket. THey look
almost exactly the same, give or take a year or two. She kneels beside Chibi-
Usa, and peers at her. She looks slightly cluelessly back. Usagi Bino smiles
at her.
Chibi-Usa: Who're you?
Usagi Bino: Usagi Bino.
She smiles again.
Chibi-Usa: Hi. I'm Usagi Serenity, but everyone around here calls me Chibi-
Usa.
Usagi Bino: (thought) Hmmm... It appears I sent them back during the time I,
too arrived here. I'm not sure if that is a blessing or not....
Shoko: Shall we continue the party, now that... HEY! My opal's gone! oh, no!
I forgot to put it back in my tiara! How could I have been so stupid??
Chibi-Usa looks down at the ground and picks up a note.
Chibi-Usa: Look. Here's a note. Maybe it'll tell us something?
Usagi looks at the note over Chibi-Usa's shoulder.
Usagi: "Dear Usagi, even though you may have won, so did I. I have taken
your daughter's opal, rendering her powerless. Unsincerely, Okane."
Usagi bino: oh, dear! This means we are short a Moon Senshi!
Shoko: Aw man! Now how am I s'posed to leave my opal with Luna?
Usagi Bino: I don't know. I just know you should.
Shoko sighs.
Shoko: I was hoping for a *nice* Christmas.... Oh well......
Usagi bino puts an arm around her daughter's shoulder.
Usagi Bino: Christmas isn't here, yet. We have a chance.
Shoko nods.
Shoko: You're right.
7. A room filled with Mirrors. Day.
Ruebeus looks out the window. He then turns.
Ruebeus: Calaveras. (she emerges.) I sense something that may represent a
threat to us and our mission. I want you to send a droid to investigate.
Calaveras: Of course.
She dissapears.
FADE OUT
8. Int. Local highscool. Day.
FADE IN
Okane smiles sweetly at the principal. There is a glow in her eyes and then,
the principal seems to be trapped in a trance.
Principal: Of course you may enter. you can do it right now, if you want.
Okane smiles again and fills out a card. She then strolls out.
Cut to:
9. Int. Rei's Temple. Day.
Shoko is throwing tinsel on the tree as Shira is trying to hang ornaments.
Shira: Sho! Could you watch it? You're supposed to dec the tree, not me!
Shoko: Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Shoko throws more tinsel on Shira. She looks like someone who was frozen,
with icecicles hanging from her extremities.
Shira: SHOKO!
Shoko smiles. ^_^ Shira rolls her eyes.
Shira: Honestly!
Yoshiko walks in carrying some cookies and snacks. The others walk in carrying
snacks too.
Rei: I still think I should be supervising the tree.
Shira yanks tinsel off and throws it at Shoko, who ducks. She manages to hit
Rei, who then throws it at shira, but hits Mamoru. There is a large tinsel
fight, and in the end, the tinsel is thrown on the tree.
FADE OUT
10. int. Rei's Temple. night.
Everyone is stretched out in different places, some snorring, tossing, or
turning, or all three. They screen zooms in on the tree. Under the base, we
see a flash, and an opal falls to the ground, with a tag reading, "To Shoko,
I wish you luck against the monsters you are bound to figh in your life, and
may you live up to your duties. ---Morpher Ko, ally of the future." The
screen zooms out, then cuts to:
11. Int. Rei's Temple. Christmas day.
Everyone is tiredly rubbing their eyes, waking up and looking under the tree.
Shoko picks up the opal, reading the tag aloud.
Shoko: "To Shoko, I wish you luck against the monsters you are bound to fight
in your life, and may you live up to your duties. ---Morpher Ko, ally of the
future." (shrugs) Oh, well.
Shoko stuffs the opal in her pocket. Usagi Bino walks Up to Ami.
Usagi Bino: Ami, ne?
Ami: Yes...
Usagi Bino: COuld you do me a small favor?
Ami: What favor?
Usagi BIno: Could you tutor my children for me, since they cant attend school?
Ami: Of course! I'd love to. Just the basic subjects?
Usagi bino nods.
Usagi Bino: Thank you very much, Ami.
Ami: Any time.
12. Int. dark room. day.
Okane is kneeling before an older version of her.
Okane: Kanjo, can you help me? I have discovered the Moon Senshi, but their
alli, sailor Moon, does not allow me to take them. Can you allow me to go on
to my next step of training, so I may defeat these nusances, gaining the two
needed?
Kanjo: Wait patiently, my dear.
13. Down town Tokyo. Day.
A large monster with red hair stomps by. Firing needles at many people, she
makes everyone scatter. THere are many screams up and down the streets as
people try to avoid the raving Monster.
Monster: Yes, scatter! Deliver the message that droid Cactus is here!
Droid Cactus sends several needles after many other people.
Droid Cactus: Running will do you puny people no good!
All of the sudden, Okane lands in front of Droid Cactus, in a brownish robe.
She weilds her fan.
Okane: What do you think you are doing, taking all of my victims for yourself?
Droid Cactus: Your victims? Ha!
Okane: No matter, just don't kill them. I've buisness to take care of now.
Okane jumps off.
14. Ext. Rei's Temple. Christmas Day.
Okane lands near the steps. She hides her fan in her robe, and hides some
razor edged coins in her hand.
