Hi all! I am officially back in CA and I should be able to start
reading stories again and answering emails... sorry to all of 
you who were ignored :(. I will put out the FFML Writers Bios
sometime next week, btw. As to the status of L in L--- I am 
totally not in the mood to write it right now and I need a
break after all my finals and such. I promise that after I
am suitably pumped up after Anime Expo that I will write more

On with the Show!!

These are going to be REVIEWS as well as commentary this time.

1. 3x3E : New Begning revision by entropy@break.com.au (*****)
This was EXCELLENT. However, it might not make much sense if
you have never seen Sanzan Eyes (3X3). I really like the 
first person perspective and the in-depth analysis of what 
Yakumo was ecperiencing. I thought your storyline was also
very well thought out. Is there going to be a sequel, or is
this more of a "Figure it out yourself" type story? Either
way, it is well done.

2. Time Travel is Fun and Easy! (*****) by mloader@scs.unr.edu
Not a fanfic, but one of the most enjoyable essays I have read
in a long time. Sort of reflects the science lessons from
"Gunbuster"--- interesting, insightful, and just plain silly.
A great piece of theory. Would you like it now or later? Time is
a wastin'....

3. Shaolin 1/2 (*) by peggyh@jymis.com (Thomas Hammil)
I hate to say this, but I really didn't like this very
much because it is the same story I hear over and over and
over except crossed with a new story every time. If you
are going to do a crossover, don't go back and repeat
the first few episodes over and over and over... sorry I
just would really like to see some new material... the
overall writing style was a bit clumsy too... keep it up
though with something new... and please don't take it
personally....

4.  A Werewolf in Nerima (**) by peggyh@jymis.com (Thomas Hammil)
This is much better and incorporates new ideas. However,
your writing style is a bit clumsy and hard to focus on.
Keep it up, however, we all started that way and got better from
there :). This story has potential: flesh it out some more!!

5.  Chrono Trigger 1/2 (***) by Don Wang dwang@sprynet.com
This is a great idea :). However, Ranma and Akane don't 
seem very vivacious... their characterizations seem sorta
flat and sterile. I think it would improve the story a lot 
if you gave more descriptions and emotions :). How about
these new characters? I think you could do more with them
as well...... Chapter II is much better on the characterization
btw....

6. Gel (****) by piccolo@cyber.atlanta.com
This story is cool and believable and the characters are very
well portrayed. It is action, emotion, and Mousse... it could
only get better if the story was about action, emotion, and Ryouga!
^_^ I somehow only received parts 1 and 3.... can you send me 2?

7. Operation: Unlikely (*****) by MILL0622@Badger.Snow.edu
As always... great, wonderful, gush, gush ^_-. However, is
this going to become another of the "great Erin Mills stories
forever to sit on the shelf waiting to be finished" ? ^_^
hehehe good job as always ^_^

8. Phamtom Riders: Dreams (*****) by bentley4@ix.netcom.com
This is a really non-traditional story... but it is
--EXCELLENT-- and well worth reading, although it required
a bit more time and thought than I usually put into FFML
stories. This has a LOT of potential... my only suggestion
is that you break up the paragraphs a bit more... it is 
a bit dense the way it is and it is easy to get confused
or lost. The quotes are all mushed in with the paragraphs
too... but great stuff. read it everyone...

9. Onnama Saotome Hibiki by larked@truro.nscc.ns.ca
Uh... I hated it. I liked it too though. Well, I liked the
famous like Ataru and Mendou and Paul McCartney and John
Lennon line. Ryouga AND RANMA?! Sigh. Hey, what ever happened
to that story where Ranma goes to the USA, thinks he is a 
girl, and ends up at this wedding with Ryouga?! Hmm....


Hey... what ever happened to the Isamu and Nabiki stories?
Anyone ever read those? They are really good....
