   Thanks, that's what I hoped for, but I feared that the closeness to the
   original might kill the interest.  Fortunately I got mostly positive
   responses.

It's rather good; after reading the last batch of installments, I had
to switch to doing something else for a while before reading more
Ranma fanfics, due to the vivid portrait of Ranko you paint.

Hmmm; with sufficient, um, flexibility, on both their parts, this
might be rather nice, and rather touching.  I don't Ryouga as being
right for either, and there's really not many other worthwhile men to
speak of in the original series who'd be interested (Mousse and Tofu
are essentially taken)....
