Well, if you put it that way, I would argue that it is impossible to put a 
little of yourself in anything you write! That's the way I write: I put myself
in that character's place and state of mind and ask "What would I do?"

Thus, all these fanfics have the essence of their authors even when _no_ new
characters are introduced, just from the author writing the story.

Just my thoughts...
