Anyway, to me it just seems to be an ordianry grep-replacement. Ranma wouldn't
be caught dead acting like that!

True... True... but remember!  This is a romantic story that Kasumi is
reading to Akane!  Sort of a broad hint, Zen would think....  Zen does
think the dialogue needs just a FEW more Takahashi-isms, but at present
sees no drastic need for substantive change.  When the other characters
start in, things should really rock and roll, adn the percentage of
Takahashi should maybe go way up, ne?
