Lawson, "Heart of the Home", a very touching Kasumi Tendou

too many stories concerning Kasumi.
"Heart of the Home" *was* cool. In a similar vein (and more like your
request) is Mr. Rim's "Kasumi's Story", another excellent fanfic. It
shows what would happen to the family if Kasumi wasn't sweet ole'
Kasumi. The plot device is Kasumi getting bonked in the head. There's some
silliness going on which I enjoyed, but might be a bit surprising in a
dramafic. The conversation between Ranma and Kasumi towards the end is
*great*. Also, my "Junk" is a kinda nice first-person view of Kasumi's
life. (plug plug)
I've wanted to rant about Kasumi's characterizations for a while now...
Rant mode on.
It seems like every in-depth characterization of Kasumi has turned
her into some kind of superwoman...and the more in-depth the fic goes,
the more of a superwoman she is. I'd like to see an in-depth Kasumi be a
pathetic idiot. In the manga, RT doesn't even seem to *hint* that there's
anything going on inside Kasumi's mind...so why is her intelligence
universally accepted?
Rant mode off.
