i remember once seeing a fanfiction where ranma
received a book of magic that he was basically
forced to learn its spells...to learn the spells
required him to perform certain rituals to activate
them.

he wasn't happy with the rituals or the things
he would have to do to get the spells.

where is that and what happened with it? who
wrote it?  I thought it was "The Major" Bentley
who wrote it, am I wrong?
