The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander.
When I was employed at the Disney Store, (I left since I'm too much of a
cynic to be cheerful for an entire 8-hour shift^_^) there were 4 videos
that had *never* been released. Those videos were: Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs, The Aristocats, Oliver & Co., and The Black Cauldron. Next
month will mark the release of the third to come out since, Oliver and Co.
(and if you think that Cauldron was a flop, I'm honestly surprised this
one got a second chance.) Only Black Cauldron is left of the original
feature length films made by Disney. There is some pressure to get it
released somehow, as there are many fans of the film. And if that seems to
be scary now, why have they created a show about Gargoyles, Hmmm? ^_^
Times have changed drastically since 1985, 11 years ago! (wow, I feel
old!) Hopefully Disney will take such things into consideration, as if it
does come out, that will be the only Disney video my husband and I will
get in its large $74 deluxe edition:) Yes, I am a huge Disney fan, and
have defended Disney on numerous occasions:) But believe me, I have heard
and have a few of my own horror stories of working for the company @_@...
"Shampoo" is a Disney fan..." Isn't it ironic? Doncha think?... "
I love Disney, however, I still haven't forgiven them for "Pocahontas".
What did you think of that and Hunchback?
