     If you are using Eudora or a similar mail reader the solution to the
spam problem is fairly simple.  First sort the messages by subject.  If you
see a long series of messages with the same subject like: "Re: [FFML] hello"
then you simply click and drag to highlight all of them and click on the
trash icon.  **pop** no more spam, and you didn't even have to read them
all.  Just enough to identify the spam thread.  For myself I think I trash
about a third or so of the messages on the mailing list without reading them
because they are obvious spam.
