My parents always use xian shung. But that also 
means "mister," and "sir."  I think lao gong is 
right because gong means male in chinese. Lao 
pua means wife. But that's old. My parents just 
use tai tai (means great, great) for wife. 
Besides "lao" means old in CHinese.
