Maybe, but that's still not what Gerard is doing; that's nuts and bolts
stuff. Gerard is adapting R1/2 to the English world.
The best description for what he does is co-writing. It's a case of
taking the original and totally rescripting it into english so that it
has the same OVERALL meaning as before, but not neccesarily the same literal
meaning.
Or writing the most incredibly stupid line that I've ever seen in the
Merkin verion ... changing 'onna?' ('a girl?') to ''Scuse me, are those
breasts?' ... Argh... @_@ I hate that line ... it's soooooooooooooooo
dumb!
The only line I seem to be kind of partial to is where Kunou goes
something like 'How dare you take part in such lacivious actions in the
bath tub of my residence'... That was cute.
