WElcome again from Slashtooth's Daily review studios. Here are our
opinions of the fanfics for today.

Slashtooth: Welcome. Our first 'fic today is Ai No Kodomo. A good
portraying of the near future, dealing with everyone's children.

Ridgewolfe: Truly. The story was interesting, and I liked the kids,
their friends, and the same problems that their parents had.

Slashtooth: It was an interesting romp. The only thing I could see
that might need a little improvment would be the backgrounds. I felt
that a little more development into the parents as well as the kids
could only inhance the story.

Ridgewolfe: I don't know. I have seen other stories of second
generation Ranma kids that didn't go over very well. I am looking
forward to the rest of this story. Thumbs up.

Slashtooth: I also give this story a thumbs up. It was interesting.

Ridgewolfe: Next, Fanfiction. I have only one question. What were you
thinking? THis Fanfic was botchy, jumped around more than Ranma on a
trampoline, and had no real purpose. Thumbs down on this one.

Slashtooth: All I know is that when I started reading it, it seemed
that the author felt that his work would be bad no matter what, so he
tried to write the worst thing he could. Mahap if he were to think 'I
can write a good fic,' his work would improve. Thumbs down, but hoping
that he can actually get a good fic out.

Ridgewolfe: Next is Lessons in Love Part 11. My response: More!
More! I've been reading the series, and I've been impressed with the
way the relationship with Ryoga and Ukyou has been developing.

Slashtooth: When I first read Lessons in Love 11, my first thought was
'I need the rest of it!' Now that I have it, I must say I am
impressed. Ukyou's reaction to Ryoga felt a little wrong though, as
Ryoga DID come back to her, but her emotions have been so battered, I
can also see her reacting irrationally. Thumbs up.

Ridgewolfe: I am anxious to see more of this fic. Good work, Marisa.

Slashtooth: Next on the list, Heart of Ice. The thought of Shampoo
going that far seemed to me to be the ultimate last ditch effort. As
that is the premise of the story, well done on that.

Ridgewolfe: The story seems interesting so far. Won't shampoo ever
learn? I would like to see more. Thumbs up.

Slashtooth: This is an interesting fic. I cannot wait to find out
what's going to happen. Thumbs up.

Ridgewolfe: Next, an interesting little diversion titled 'The 'ichi and
Shampy Show.' Only one thing to say. Guh! Gasp! P-P-Puns!
*giggle**snort* Help! I need - need- dose of reality! Thumbs up!

Slashtooth: Well, coming from a resident of surreality, I am shocked to
hear you say that. This one was an interesting little side romp that
can cheer up just about anyone on a bad day. Thumbs up!

Ridgewolfe: Next, Mermaids heart. This was a good tale full of Irony.
There is Eric's unwillingness to tell what he has lost, which eventually
leads to his real loss, the Princess.

Slashtooth: This was kinda depressing. I thought it was like a RPG
session. Full of Pathos, lost love, and the tragic ending that
dominated early victorian works. I could easily see a RPG character
reacting in the same way.

Ridgewolfe: I also found it ironic that a soulless creature would
persue her love (And where did this love come from?) to a remote region
in china (Possibly the grove of weeping waters?) and sacrifice herself
to save Eric's life.

Slashtooth: Wait a minute. Save HIS life? She killed herself because
she thougth he was dead, and she had no life without him.

Ridgewolfe: Sorry. I guess I read more into it.

Slashtooth: No, you skipped the intro that told you of his
immortality. Opps, I just reread it. She did sacrifice herself to save
his life. Sorry.

Ridgewolfe: Of course. I was right. wait a minute, what intro?
Anyway, I can see Ariel berating herself throughout the story for not
having a soul, but I thought that only those creatures that worry about
souls, have souls. Thumbs up for this depressing short.

Slashtooth: Well, also, if you read other stories that deal with souls,
most creatures do not realise that they have souls untill the time of
death. But, I give this fic a thumbs up, and a recommendation to read
the 'Ichi and Shampy show after this one. People could use the humor
after this 'fic.

Slashtooth: We had slated to review El Ranma and Project S-boy, but
Ridgewolfe was tired (He was up all night trying to write the second
part of his Fanfic), so I am going to drop my 2 cents worth, and
Ridgewolfe will review them eventually. Project: S-boy was a special
request for a review. The first we recieved. Being familiar with the
Superboy saga, as well as Project A-ko, I am impressed with the blending
of the two worlds. I am not that familiar with Knockout, so I am not
sure how in character she was. Superboy and the A-ko cast were in
character, as far as I could tell, and the plotting of B-ko fits right
in. There were a couple of very small things that I would have changed,
liek Superboy missing the hole in the lead casing of the kryptonite
beamer, but all in all, a good story that had many interesting
directions for it to go in. Thumbs up from me.
El Ranma I have not finished reading, I also was up far too late last
night.:) However, I will try to have the review of it up in the next
session of Slashtooth's semi daily reviews. Well, that is all for now,
happy reading!

Ridgewolfe: And remember, keep the mailbox open!

Once again, we are going to state our reviewing policies. We place all
of the Fanfics into a single folder, sort them alphabetically (Actually
our software does), and go through them that way. If you do not see
your fic up here for a long time, it is not because we do not want to
review it, it's just further down the list. If you would like your
Fanfic reviewed, drop us a line, including all parts of your story, and
we will get it up A.S.A.P. have a good evening, and untill next time,
Happy reading!
