If you want people (like me) to comment on your story, comment by
private email only, or send you a carbon copy of comments, please put a
note to that effect in your messages.
Hadn't thought of that.... I could change the final drafts to include
a little blurb to that effect at the beginning of each chapter
Hm. The comment you're responding to is something I stick onto all of my
commentaries, so I'm not sure if I was too vague when I wrote that. I'm
just saying something like "if you want people to do something special to
your story, like comment on it, send a copy of any comments directly to
your mailbox (versus just to the mailing list), or send comments via
private email only, then you might want to make a note of it."
This is mostly because I don't always know if people even want comments (I
found a message that you said you did on it, so I figured it was OK), and
then, if they do, I don't know if they want them in public or in private.
The CC: thing doesn't matter to everyone--if you just read the list
without any sort of filtration, it may not, since you get two copies of
anything CCed.
However, if you have a mail filter, you may be filtering stuff from the
list into a lower-priority mailbox. Getting a cc of a message means that
I can read the responses to what I write more easily.

The Star Trek section? I'm not really sure... I have a rough idea
what I want to get done before Mihoshi and co. manage to find a way
out of that dimension.... not to say that they'll make it home
right away. Might be a stop or two on the way ^_^
Actually, that's pretty cool! Seeing Mihoshi & co meandering through the
multiverse should be pretty entertaining.

Riker was the hardest ST character to write... I have a hard time
deciding how he would react to events.
Fair enough. I think that Riker would be most difficult of the characters
to write because he doesn't have a "hook".

It's what I call "Mihoshi's luck"... might sound better if she said
"all I did was push this little button over here..." or something to
that effect.
Hehe... yeah, that would somehow match her more...

Hm. I don't think of Mihoshi calling the coffee "excellent". How
about "... it makes really great coffee, by the way." I dunno... maybe
it's just predjudice. :)
True... I'm not much of a coffee person myself. But I figured that
Mihoshi might like it a lot, so.... oh well, tastes vary ^_^
Actually, I'm not referring to Mihoshi liking the coffee, just the way
it's phrased. (Although I'm not much of a coffee person myself, I think
that her consumption of it seems likely, not to mention that it makes the
comments about the hot chocolate funnier :) )

I've been trying hard to keep them from being "modified", as I think
that adds to the basic humor of the entire situation. Especially
the ST crew, trying to handle an invasion of anime characters...
hmmmm.... could that be a potential fanfic idea? ^_^
Actually, that would be pretty funny, as well.

It's coming! It's coming! As fast as my little fingers can type, it's
