On another note, I've noticed that many people keep asking for stories
that they missed or didn't get or whatever.  A good idea might be for
someone to keep track of story titles, authors, and their email addresses
and post this list every once in a while so other people don't have to
request stories on the ML itself and can send private email directly to
the author instead.  I'd volunteer to do this but as I stated above, I'm a
bit busy at the moment.

        It would be best for people who are interested in a story they
missed to simply follow a thread until they can determine the author, and
then mail the author directly for a copy of his work.  Failing that, to
mail a participant in the thread to send a copy.
        It's more reliable, and they won't have to worry about mutiple
copies being sent to them.  It also keeps the spam level of the list down.
        A list would be a good idea, however it would be quite long and
posting it would be problimatic as well.  It would work better to either
have it simply available as perhaps a html site/ftp/remailer/etc or to have
someone maintain it and answer 411 requests.
        I could probably convert the AFG into such a thing, but really I am
quite busy as well.  Due to lack of interest the AFG may be closing soon in
any case.
