       I think the underlying message that came out in the end has a bit of
merit I suppose, but in ligght of the fic it loses impact since having Ranma
being a druggie, doesn't put him in any good light. The fic could improve
greatly by removing the drugs and knocing off the hundreds of sexual
encounters alluded to.

uh...i don't think you got the real point of the fic, which
was basically nothing.  the ending was sappy but i liked it
because its contrast with the rest of the story threw my brain
for a loop.  kinda showed that a man can change for the better,
too, so it was kinda inspiring.

	I just didn't like it. I aslo thought it was so out of character that
it was just wrong. The underlying message was interesting as I said, but
the fic didn't do it for me. Maybe it's one of those love it or hate it
things, kinda like 'Pulp Fiction' (which I love) where many people were
turned off because of violence and swearing and never caught the
underlying message. 

if you removed the drugs and sex, it wouldn't be the same story!

	I didn't say all the sex, but hundreds come on! It IMO would've been
better if it was simply not Ranma. Which it wasn't in any case. If it
was a stand alone short story, I think it would've been better, but IMO,
except for the 'female testing' thing, it could've been done elsewhere.
I used to be a lemon junkie until I realized that for the most part,
they, kinda knocked down the seriousness of sex in general, and it
didn't feel right. I've seen serious fics that seemed to pull the Ranma
feel along, but never a lemon. (Not even Lemonade which is the best.) I
still do read lemons on occasion, but not as much as I used to. they get
old after a while. But as I'm rambling as usual I'll get to my point. I
liked that this one was different, but as a Ranma fic it falls way flat.

the sex seemed to be written not for hentai or disgust purposes but rather
to be funny, and that it was.  for instance, that part about Shampoo
"almost like she was singin the nekohanten menu song while riding
my pole."  That's not exactly erotic or disgusting.  More like...
hilarious.

	More like... nothing. No emotion out of me during the scenes
whatsoever. Interesting ways of looking at it maybe. But I failed to see
the humor. I probably would've enjoyed it more if it had been not Ranma,
because quite simply I can't SEE Ranma talking or acting like that as I
can in most fics.
