I don't think it's fair to say there are too many RANMA fics.  How 
much is too many.  I think a more fair statement is that there aren't 
enough *other* kinds of fics.  Like I said before, I think it would 
be neat if each Ranma writer would, in addition to his or her RANMA 
fics, try to write one story in another genre.

Sounds like a challenge to me.  I'm assuming you mean non-crossover,
right?  (Well, non-RANMA crossover)
