Greetings all, I guess this is to be my first story posted to the
Mailing list, in fact my first real story posted just about anywhere. It's a
dimensional crossover based on both Ranma 1/2, and the RPG "Stalking the Night
Fantastic" and the book series Bureau 13 it inspired.
Naturally, all the characters in the Ranma universe are the creation of
Rumiko Takahashi, and while I thought up all but one of Bureau Team Hurricane,
the situations and storyline's are based on those created in the game and story.
I will react well to C&C of course, just remember that constructive
criticism tends to be more functional than flames.
On with the story.
-------
In a out of the way portion of Arizona desert, a battered RV is trying
to outrun the end of the world.
",<It's gaining!>" Called a young teen as he worked a computer in the
living quarters.
"<More bugs ahead!>" Called out the woman sitting in the passenger
seat.
A second later the vehicle swerved to minimize it's path through a large
cloud of carnivorous beetles.
"<You've got fifteen seconds to come up with any ideas, then I'll set
the self destruct and ram that thing.>" The red haired man at the wheel said in
a loud but even voice.
"<Let me take the wheel.>" As he said this a young Japanese man with a
yellow and black bandanna stepped up, removing his leather and metal wristbands
and handing them to the blond haired woman in the passengers seat.
"<... OK, let's get lost.>" The driver said as he and the young man
switched places in a fraction of a second. A second later the Vehicle began to
swerve around the road. The red haired man just managed to strap himself into a
seat in the living quarters when the RV executed a two G 270 degree turn. For
the next two minutes, the passengers of the RV let their restraints hold them
together through a dozen turns loops and bouts of insane acceleration.
Then as they felt hope that they might have outmaneuvered their pursuer,
from the passenger seat came the cry "<He's in front of us!>" Before them was a
twenty foot high form. It's shape was ambiguous, vaguely humanoid, but more
like a cloud than anything else. In places the darkness faded to reveal various
things, thousands of beetles and grubs swarming together, hundreds of human
skulls fused into a single wall, a hundred swords dripping blood. Then the RV
accelerated as it's collision seemed immanent. A second before the impact, the
RV began to glow and shimmer. A second later everything within 1000 feet wasn't
there anymore.
Bureau 13 1/2
Stalking Nerima
by Brendan O'Donnell
Chapter 1
On a street of Nerima drove a nervous motorist. He usually avoided
traveling this route, but he was late, and feared his bosses annoyance more than
the bizarre and violent rumors about this small suburb of Tokyo. Still, he was
cautious, which is why he managed to break in time to avoid crashing into the
large RV which appeared out of a sudden light.
The commuter just sat in stunned silence as the RV's driver, a young
Japanese man wearing a leather jacket and a yellow and black bandanna opened the
window, and called out to him in English "<Sorry!>" The driver looked around,
then exclaimed in Japanese with some surprise "Tokyo! Not where I expected but,
<Did we loose it?>" he called back into the RV.
Within the RV, the kid at the computer typed a few characters on the
keyboard, and replied "<Yeah, I can't detect that thing anywhere.>"
Feeling the shock of what had just happened lessen, the Motorist lightly
tapped his horn, not wanting to annoy this strange person driving a vehicle
which could flatten his without being scratched.
"Oh, Gomen." The driver replied and looked around. Spotting an empty
lot halfway down the block he shifted into reverse and backed into it. "Go on!"
He yelled, waving the unmoving car into motion. The car's driver suddenly
realized just how intelligent that suggestion sounded, and tested the
acceleration of his car for about two dozen blocks before he was pulled over by
a convenient policeman. Who found himself listening to the sort of babble he
had found to be a weekly occurrence in Nerima.
He was a little puzzled by the lack of damage to the car though.
In the vacant lot, the occupants of the RV unstraped themselves from
their seats. The driver accepted his wristbands back from the woman in the
passenger seat and put them back on. From the living section the red haired man
called out "<OK, You can stretch for one minute, then we need to conference.>"
"<You got it John.>" Replied the kid at the computer as he stood, then
tumbled into a handstand.
Ignoring the 14 year old's gymnastics John walked to the side door of
the RV and opened it. He stepped out and looked at the buildings around him. A
few moments consideration and he stepped back into the van where the other
inhabitants were standing in a semicircle in the living quarters, except the 14
year old kid who was back at the computer. "<OK, You said this was Tokyo
Ryouga?>"
"<Definitely one of Tokyo's suburbs John. I can't tell you which one
off hand though.>" The young man with the bandanna replied.
"<Something feels wrong.>" Replied the tall Native American wearing
jeans, T-shirt and a deerskin vest. "<The feel of this place is not what it
should be.>"
"<Is there any other way you could phrase that, Will?>" John replied.
"<Or could you translate, Carol?>" He added to the blond woman.
"<Anti-yes boss.>" She replied. "<I still can't figure out that spirit
stuff he's always going on about.>"
"<I think I can in this case.>" The kid at the computer called out.
"<What is it, Andy?>" John said walking up to him.
"<Quantum signature. I had the quantum flux scanner going during our
fight with you-know-who, looking for any exploitable weaknesses, and now I'm
getting altered Quantum flux signatures in everything around us. I'd say we've
jumped to another universe.>"
John sighed. "<Great. Ok, Ryouga, you and Carol check this place out,
figure out where we are, try to find reasons for us being here. You know there
tends to be interdimensional resonance affecting all dimensional crossovers so
find it here. Will, do what feels right to you. I know your intuition doesn't
make mistakes very often. Andy, was the scanner going when we crossed over?>"
"<All the scanners were on, you know I don't like to miss possible
information.>"
"<OK, I want you to go over the data and give me a full report.>"
"<It'll take a while to run everything through the analysis programs.>"
Andy replied.
"<All the more reason to get started.>" John replied. "<I'll be
contacting the local Bureau. If we're lucky they can help us get back home.
Those of us who want to at least.>"
Annoyed murmurs filled the van for a moment. Ryouga said with some heat
"<You know we'll all want to get back!>"
With a sigh John replied "<We all know what we'll have to face back
home, Anyone who decides to stay here will have a somewhat better life
expectancy.>"
Carol responded "<We all knew the risks when we joined the Bureau. Any
one of us might be the single factor which could mean the difference between
life and death for everyone. We won't hide.>" Everyone nodded in agreement.
With a smile John said "<OK. Well, let's get started.>" He stepped out
of the RV and started down the street. Ryouga and Carol also left and started
in the opposite direction. Will walked out of the RV, looked around, and walked
to the tree in the left corner of the vacant lot. Siting in it's shade he
closed his eyes and began to meditate. Andy kept pounding away at his computer.
"<Ok, where do we go now?>" Carol said to Ryouga as they walked down
the street.
"<I'm not sure, we'd better talk Japanese though, to get adjusted for
meeting the locals.>"
"No problem." Carol replied in the requested language. "You'd better
take the lead."
"I don't know this area any better than you do." Ryouga replied.
"But in all probability, your the one who's resonance pulled us here.
So whatever drew us here should relate to you." Carol replied.
"I'll have to take your word for it." Ryouga replied as he stopped.
"Since this may involve my alternate or a family member, I'd better check for
local oath sites." Ryouga stopped and crossed his arms, so that his wristbands
were touching each other. Closing his eyes, Ryouga willed the wristbands
inhibiting character to diminish, until he began to feel the tugging,
Concentrating on the nearest pull, Ryouga pivoted until he was facing it, then
focused all his attention on it. Five seconds later, he restored the full force
of the wristbands and lowered his arms. Opening his eyes he looked in the
direction he had picked, and said "90 Meters."
"OK, let's go!" Carol said as they started down the street.
*Well, what's the best way to contact the Bureau. We don't have a
satellite near Japan, and I don't know the access codes for the local equivalent
of the Bureau.* John thought to himself as he walked down the street. *Phone
is the best way to handle it, but my calling card probably won't work, and since
most locals won't let a stranger come into their house to make an international
call, I'll have to use a pay phone. Now, the question is weather or not the
local businesses will be able to exchange dollars for me. Well, this restaurant
looks like a place to try.* He thought as he entered a Restaurant shop.
"Nihau, welcome to Nekohanten, may I show you seat?" Said the young
lavender haired waitress.
"Not really, I just need to find out the nearest place I can exchange US
dollars for Yen." John replied.
"Talk to Great-Grandmother, she handle money." The waitress replied
pointing to the short wrinkled form behind the counter.
"Thanks." John said as he walked up to the counter. *Odd, where have I
seen this old woman before?*
"So, you're American? I can change your cash if you want, though I will
ask for a slightly lower exchange than the banks. I can direct you to them if
you prefer."
"No need, speeds what's important to me right now." John said as he
pulled out his wallet. *Come to think of it, I'm sure I haven't ever met her,
but she seems really familiar, Wait!* He pulled out a $20 bill, then paused to
look at the old woman.
"Are you by any chance Cologne of Joketsuzoku village?" John asked her.
Her eyes widening slightly she replied "Yes I am. Have you heard of me
from somewhere? I'm certain we have never met."
*OK, what's the recognition code for interagency meetings? Oh, Yeah*
He reached into his coat and pulled out his FBI identification booklet. ">Have
you ever seen a Bureau with 13 drawers?<"
Her eyes widening slightly, Cologne pulled out a leather booklet,
somewhat larger than his and said ">Have you ever seen the scales of the
dragons?<"
With a slight twist John flipped open a hidden flap of my booklet,
revealing a black card. Putting it on the counter, he compressed his antimagic
field, and let his modified Bureau ID card display his identity. ">I'm John
Nil, I've been with Bureau 13 for seven years, and I'd transfer to clerical if
clerical had the personnel to process my request.<"
Opening her own booklet, Cologne displayed two pieces of paper covered
with blotches of black ink. A second later the ink reformed into neat Chinese
characters, and a perfectly rendered drawing of her. ">I am Cologne of
Joketsuzoku village. I am a defender of the people, and I would raise cabbage
in my spare time if I had spare time.<"
In perfect unison the two said ">Yeah, Right.<"
"'Tendo school of anything goes martial arts.'" Ryouga said reading the
sign on the house. "It's in there."
"Ok, so how do we figure out what it is? Your ancestors have made some
really weird oaths Ryouga." Carol replied.
"I think the simplest thing to do is knock. Maybe my analog's living
here." Ryouga said walking up to the door and knocking.
"I hope it's that simple." Carol replied walking up next to him.
The door was opened by a young woman with long brown hair in a pony-tail
wearing a frilly apron. "Oh, hello Ryouga. Won't you and your friend come in?"
She said.
Ryouga and Carol glanced at each other a moment, then Ryouga said
"Thanks miss, by the way, could you tell me when was the last time you saw me?"
"Why it was just last week. You brought some Hokkaido pineapples, and
got into a little argument with Ranma. And please call me Kasumi." She said as
she escorted the two agents into the family room.
Carol whispered to Ryouga. "Ryouga, since when have they grown
pineapples in Hokkaido?"
Ryouga whispered back, "My alternate probably line walked from Hokkaido
to somewhere tropical, and didn't realize it. I used to do that sort of thing
all the time."
The cry "RANMA NO BAKA!!!" echoed from the room the pair was about to
enter followed by a loud crash, and the form of a young black haired man with a
pigtail being thrown into the yard. He landed in the pond with a large splash.
"I keep telling you to quit picking on P-chan!" Said a girl with short
black hair as she walked out of the room after the human projectile. She was
wearing a yellow dress with floral patterns, and holding a small black piglet in
her arms. She noticed Ryouga and Carol. "Oh, Ryouga, What are you doing here?"
she said in a friendly voice.
"You could say I'm looking for myself." He replied, trying to think of
an explanation which would sound believable.
"Kawaikune tomboy." came from the red haired girl who was pulling
herself out of the pond. She started across the garden, then froze at the sight
of Ryouga. Her eyes darted from the black haired girl to Ryouga then back again
as she stammered "Ryouga? but he's... he can't have... how?"
The pig the black haired girl was holding stared at Ryouga for a few
moments then it suddenly started squirmed free of her grip and leapt at him with
an enraged squeal. It was fast but not as fast as some of the things Ryouga had
been forced to dodge the last two years. He caught the pig with both hands,
holding it so it couldn't get it's paws or teeth at him. Then he noticed the
bandanna the animal was wearing. He shifted his grip to feel it's material, and
he sensed it responding to his will just as his own did.
The black haired girl walked up and snatched back the pig saying "Now
don't be afraid P-chan, it's just Ryouga, no need to get upset."
"Excuse me..." Ryouga started, then the Redhead in the garden
recovered.
"Allright Ryouga! What's GOING ON!"
"Calm down everyone! I just came through a dimensional gate under an
hour ago, so while I am Ryouga Hibiki, I am doubtless not the same Ryouga you
are familiar with." Ryouga said. "Indeed from my point of view this is the
first time I have met either of you. Though you seem a little familiar miss."
He added to the red haired girl.
"I'm A GUY!!" She screamed back at him with a great deal of anger.
The piglet jumped from the black haired girl's arms and ran out of the
room. She looked after it a moment, then stepped up to Ryouga and put her hand
on his forehead. "You don't seem to be running a fever, Ryouga."
"He's telling the truth, folks." Carol said from where she stood at his
side. "I ought to know."
"And who are you?" The red haired girl said.
Kasumi came out of the kitchen holding a steaming kettle. She handed it
to the red haired girl who thanked her and poured some hot water on her head. A
moment later she had turned into a black haired boy. Ryouga looked at him and
snapped his fingers.
"Of course! Ranma!" He turned to Carol who was looking the boy over
with a rather analytical look on her face. "You remember when we met, I was
trying to chase this kid who had been stealing my lunches but got lost, well
this," He said pointing to Ranma "Is Ranma Saotome, the bread thief."
Frowning Ranma asked "I already apologized to you once about that!" he
said in annoyance. Then he thought a moment and asked "If you haven't seen me
for two years, why aren't you surprised I turned into a girl?" Meanwhile he
thought *That stories crazy, but at least it explains who he is and why he's
coexisting with P-Chan. I wonder if this guy's got a curse.*
*Hmm, accepting the truth just like that. Interesting.* Ryouga thought
"I've seen enough curses and weird stuff since joining the Bureau that sex
changes aren't exactly surprising. Uh, it wasn't deliberate, was it?"
"NO IT WASN'T!!..." Ranma began in a loud voice
"ALL RIGHT IMPOSTOR!!!" The local version of Ryouga stormed into the
room, his wet hair steaming. He was wearing the old yellow and brown outfit the
Bureau's Ryouga had worn when he first came to America. The bandanna he had
been contemplating on the pig was now on his counterparts head. "I'm not going
to let you go around pretending to be me!" Pulling out his umbrella he attacked
"I'm not pretending anything, dimensional brother." The Bureau Ryouga
said while backfliping away from the initial swing into the yard "You're the
Ryouga Hibiki who belongs in this universe, not me. I'm just an alternate
version of you who's hopefully not staying here very long." He took out his own
umbrella, and adopted a defensive position
"Shut up and fight impostor!" The local yelled as he charged into the
yard.
Will was sitting beneath the tree in the vacant lot. With practiced
ease, he cleared his mind of all conscious thought, letting his essence drift on
the spirit winds. Opening his eyes he rose to his feet and began to move with
the current of the spirit world.
Will casually leapt over the fence surrounding the lot. He walked down
the street quickly and with a sense of casualness. Those looking at him thought
his eyes looked a little unfocused. Though keeping himself firmly grounded in
the physical world, his senses were extending partially into the spirit world.
Material objects and people seemed to fade slightly, as the phantoms of the
other world became visible. Here and there were places of sharp focus, people
and places of true essence who's nature was equally strong in both worlds.
Feeling the tug of the spirit winds he turned and walked to the Dojo where
Ryouga and Carol were currently so busy.
*Hmm, a point of true reality.* He thought as he looked over the Dojo's
presence in both the aspects of the material and of the spiritual. Unlike most
of the world there was little difference between them. *Well, This is
definitely someplace to study. Let's see if I can persuade the folks to let me
in.* Will started toward the Dojo entrance. He paused as he heard the sound of
fighting and a familiar voice on the other side. *On second thought, I might
miss something significant.* he thought as he lightly jumped to the top of the
wall.
">>His claim to be from an alternate universe matches his aura. His
knowledge of Bureau protocols makes the rest of his story likely as well.<<"
Cologne said into the phone in Cantonese. ">>Thank you, I'll put him on.<<"
extending the phone she said in English ">My associates are transferring your
call to Bureau 13 HQ.<"
">Thank you<" John replied. Taking the phone he addressed it.
">Hello? ... Balder ... Right! ... Agent John Nill, recruited five years ago,
agent in charge Team Hurricane ... Yes that's me, ... Glad to hear it. ... My
team consists of Martial artist Ryouga Hibiki, Mages Carol arcane and Will
Rainbird, and Computer expert Andy Stone is temporarily assigned to us." ...
">The situation began three months ago. The Scion of the Silver Dagger
had been investing a lot of time and effort into acquiring certain ancient
artifacts associated with gods or spirits of disease, hunger, and conflict. It
seems the Scion had accidentally discovered that these gods and spirits were
actually minor avatars of the same extradimensional beings. Their plan was to
use the artifacts to power a ritual to summon the original forces. The Bureau
team investigating discovered this, but was unable to prevent it's success
despite an excellent attempt. The ritual summoned the entities described as the
four horsemen of the apocalypse.
">Since then we and every associated organization have been devoting all
our effort into defeating the horsemen. The situation necessitated the
abandonment of all secrecy concerning Bureau existence by the general public.
Two weeks ago we were successful in identifying the fatal counteragents for
Famine, Pestilence, and War. It was theorized that the Horseman Death would
loose the capacity to exist in this world without the other three. Eight hours
ago, in response to an all out attack by world organizations, all four retreated
to Nevada.
">A Bureau led strike force attempted to finish them off, but before we
could, the four combined themselves into a composite entity which referred to
itself as Armageddon. In the confrontation our side suffered severe casualties
without being able to inflict any lasting damage. When Gordon ordered a
retreat, my team was in the right place to institute a delaying rear guard
action. When we were informed that the other teams had successfully regrouped,
we attempted to use Ryouga Hibiki's capacities for loosing his way and
navigating dragonlines to escape. We collided with Armageddon, and suddenly
found ourselves in Tokyo's Nerima ward in this dimension. I contacted agent
Cologne while attempting to obtain change to call the Bureau on a pay phone.<"
*Hmm, I forgot how bad my temper used to be.* Ryouga thought as he
continued to block his opponents umbrella strikes. *At least this me hasn't
done much to boost his speed. Better get that umbrella away from him, I'll
probably have to hit him a few times before he'll be willing to talk.* He
stepped back letting his umbrella drop. Seeing this the native Ryouga stabbed a
quick thrust with his own umbrella straight at his alternates torso. His
alternate twisted his body out of the way while grabbing the umbrella in it's
middle with his left hand, which formed a flaming aura as it caught the weapon.
A quick twist of this hand reduced the native Ryouga's umbrella to dust and
splinters, even the metal beneath the bamboo.
*Damn, how did he do that?* The native Ryouga thought as he looked at
what was left of his umbrella. His anger boiling to the surface again, as he
threw down what was left of his umbrella and lashed out at his opponent with a
punch which was deflected by the umbrella. This moved his opponents umbrella
hand into position to serve as the target of a kick with his right leg. It
missed. His opponent countered with a kick of his own, the impact throwing
Ryouga into the air toward the pond. He and Ranma tensed up in apprehension,
then relaxed as Ryouga landed on the other side of the body of water. Pulling
himself to his feet, he looked at the other Ryouga standing on the other side of
the pond, umbrella ready. *Not only does Ranma always beat me, now I'm second
best at being Ryouga Hibiki! And Akane can see it to!* Focusing his thoughts
on this, Ryouga began to glow as he gathered his chi.
*Uh-Oh!* Thought the Bureau Ryouga as he saw his alternate beginning to
glow from the chi he was generating. *This should be a long distance chi attack
of some sort.* He thought as he snapped his umbrella open in preparation. *I
just hope it's a one shot technique.*
With a cry of "Shishihodoken!" The native Ryouga unleashed a massive
blast of Chi energy. The Bureau Ryouga spun his umbrella, and then sliced the
edge of the open umbrella across the front of the incoming blast a fraction of a
second before striking the handle to the ground. The observers were shocked to
see the energy of the local Ryouga's technique be sucked into the Umbrella,
which channeled the power into the ground.
The Bureau Ryouga leaped over the pond. His counterpart shook off his
surprise about his technique being countered, and punched at him. Dodging the
blow Bureau Ryouga struck at his alternate with an openhanded strike, his palm
glowing in energy as it approached it's target. "Detonator Palm!" Upon impact
this energy exploded, blasting the local Ryouga into the stone wall, and pushing
the Bureau Ryouga back about an inch.
Will dropped down from his viewpoint on the wall to land just next to
where the local Ryouga had hit the ground, falling from the crater in the garden
wall. "Something I should know about?"
"Just trying to calm down my counterpart so I can talk with him in a
rational manner." The Bureau Ryouga said as he walked forward. He checked his
counterparts pulse, and after looking him over quickly rolled him over. "Carol,
nothing seems to be broken, but he'll sure feel this when he gets up. Could you
prep some instant healing stuff for when we've agreed to be rational."
"And while you're at it, you might figure out how you're going to pay
for damaging our home." Said a girl with short brown hair who was walking down
the stairs. She looked at the two Ryouga's, raised an eyebrow and said to Akane
"Another Hibiki?"
"He says he's from another Universe Nabiki." Akane replied.
"Not just says" Carol stated as she walked into the garden. "And I can
take care of the damage right now." She added as she reached into her purse.
Pulling out a stick of red chalk she drew a square around the damaged portion of
the wall. Standing before it she began chanting in a language that sounded like
Latin, but seemed, wrong. A few seconds after the chant began the cracks on the
outside of the damaged circle began to shrink, and the dust and chunks of
masonry on the ground rose and drifted back into place. After a few more
seconds there was no sign the wall had ever been damaged. Carol made a rubbing
gesture at the wall, and the red chalk faded. She then stopped the chant and
turned toward the others.
"Pretty handy." Nabiki commented as she stepped into the garden.
"Well, could you tell me just who you all are and why you're suddenly twins?"
She said walking up to the group.
"I'm Ryouga Hibiki, this is Carol Arcane, and he's Will Rainbird."
Ryouga replied. "Um, this is the first time I've personally met any of you,
except Ranma"
"Well this is Akane Tendo and her sister Nabiki." Ranma replied. *This
Ryouga's a lot better than the one I know. I wonder where he learned all that?*
"Uhh," the native Ryouga stated as he roused himself to consciousness.
"What..?"
"Now now, don't try to strain anything and I'll have you on your feet in
two shakes, OK cutie?" Said Carol from where she was kneeling by that Ryouga.
Suddenly conscious of a strange blond woman leaning over him, her
partially open blouse showing him a lot of cleavage, the anime nosebleed started
almost immediately. It stopped almost immediately afterward as Carol grabbed
his nose, said a quick word in the language of magic, and whipped her fingers
off his nose with a snap.
"AAAHHH! That hurt!" Ryouga shouted as he grabbed his nose.
"Quickest thing to stop those nosebleeds. You wouldn't have them if you
thought clean thoughts of course."
"Like you ever encouraged me to think clean thoughts?" Mentioned the
Bureau Ryouga from where he was standing by the pond.
"Later!" she responded.
"You!" The native Ryouga responded, starting to push himself to his
feet, only to be shoved back down by Carol.
"Stay down Stud-monster! I know you love trying to hit stuff with that
umbrella of yours but it won't be my boyfriend! Now I'm going to fix you up and
you're going to give me your word that you'll try to act like a rational person
and talk instead of fight, RIGHT?!"
"Uh, right." Ryouga mumbled as he lay back. Carol nodded her head and
started chanting to herself. A second later she jabbed the local Ryouga in the
stomach with two glowing fingers. Ryouga screamed.
"That Hurt!!"
Carol had already gotten to her feet, and glancing down at him said
"Really? Where?"
"Uh..." Ryouga suddenly realized that for the first time in a long
while not one part of his body was reminding him that it was injured. "Hey,
How..?"
"I am a mage of the clan Kamdal, a student of the third house of Athena.
I am the Seventh heir of Deunadan, red chair of the ninth council. I am Carol
Arcane." She proclaimed, ending the entire declaration with a bow. The two
other Bureau folk rolled their eyes.
In the van Andy Stone is sipping from a two litter bottle of Jolt.
After considering the computer screen before him he starts typing away at the
keyboard again. The appearance of a flashing light in the corner of the screen,
and the alarm bells on the speakers draw his attention. He clicks the flashing
Icon. He looks at the screen. "Oh Boy." he mutters with a sound of absolute
surrender. Shaking his head he hits a few commands with the keyboard.
Considering the screen a moment he nods his head and types a quick command on
the computer. A moment later the screen indicated everyone was listening in,
and he raised his watch to his mouth and activating it's radio transmitter
spoke.
">Emergency, everyone. They're here.<"
