Ok... I have discovered my mistake. I was ABOUT to post Part XIV this
morning, and I got this note from Sean Gaffney saying:
"Just another reminder, PLEASE be nice to Akari."
Well, being the sucker that I am, I decided to do my very best to give her
some sort of happy ending, which I composed in about 25 minutes. Prior to
10 am this morning, L in L XIV just ended with Akari running off, and
there was no mention of her whatsoever in Akane's diary.
Well, I added that part, trying to make her have a happy little match,
and, now that I reread that part, I realized that by trying to do that, I
ended up ruining the integrity of what I had written before, and all
advice to that nature goes to Kun-chan and Richard Lawson.
I am going to go back in and fix it, so the story just ends with Akari
running off, and leave it at that. Akari DOES deserve better than the
little fix-up I fabricated at the end, and I sincerely apologize for
trying to be TOO nice to her, and therefore making it seem stupid.
Other than that, I am afraid that the rest of the story is going to have
to stay the way that it is. I know it seems like a bit of a rush job, but
a Lesson in Love is primarily about Ranma, Akane, Ukyou, and Ryouga, and
not really the other characters, so the other relationships are
SUPPOSED to be periphrial (sp?) to the rest of the story.
P.S. Don't ask me why I got rid of Happosai. I don't know either.
