Not as far as anyone told me. 

I plotted out Chasing the Wind while I spent three months at sea (from
May to July) mostly underwater. (The lower oxygen content and the higher
concentration of carbon-dioxide might have had something to do with it.
Maybe it was the Amine...) Ranma's proposal to Akane was one of the most
important elements of the story I chose to write, and I wanted to do it
right (I hope I did anyway!) Did I mention that I was a hopeless
romantic as well?
