If I might make a suggestion for an alternate ending:  if you could
somehow find a way for Kasumi to obliviously save Nabiki, that would be
great.

No. I had Nabs get it for a couple of reasons; one being to show Kasumi's
reaction.
   There was also the problem of how this would leave the poor hitman.
(Who, BTW, was rather Kasumilike himself.) ^_^

Still, as written, it's a chucklefest.

Oh, and about my Kasumi being different from your Kasumi:  let me
introduce you to my friend Skuld.  "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedah!"

*laugh* Different but still well-written. ^_^ Although I must confess to
liking "Appearances" more that "Heart" - I don't know what that says about
me. ^_^
