Ah. Finally I had the time to sit down and read all the parts of
this fic. I had only read part 1 so far and wasn't so sure what
the story was going to be about, since the divergence from the
original only showed in part 2. Well, now I know, and I'm hooked!
This is *so* cool. Why, Akane even rivals Nabiki in sneakyness
and misdirection, while Kasumi exhibits her own level of
duplicity, too. The writing flows nicely, coupled with a far
broader knowledge of Japanese culture (and apparently martial
arts, too) than the usual fic exhibits. I know I will look
forward to seeing the rest of this chapter and all things the
future will bring.
