For the approval of the list. WebDragon has already been sent a copy.

Appreciate that.

They get on better than, say, Akane and Shampoo, true, but they're hardly
close, and get on steadily worse after the Ten-Year Sauce story.

Is this set before the 10yr sauce story or after? ^_^

I can actually see Ukyo going even further and rubbing Akane's nose in
the fact that Ranchan is with _her_, not Akane. This is not to say, of
course, that she would not regret it later.

No different than Ranma running after Shampoo of his own free will
and not bothering to conceal his actions from Akane. (Desperately Seeking
Shampoo)

Disclaimer : The following in > is NOT WebDragon's story ... of
course, after reading Namida, you all probably know that.

Now there can be no forgiveness, as with Shampoo. Akane runs out into the
night, cursing Ranma for breaking her heart.

So what's new?

For Ukyo, too, there will be no forgiveness, for she has committed the
unpardonable sin of decisively driving Ranma from Akane's heart,
unpardonable because there is no repairing the damage. He strikes her
with his hand, cursing her for the heartless seductress she has played,
and runs off in his own course, pleading for Akane to take him back, to
bestow the forgiveness he knows he cannot receive. Ukyo calls to him,
pleading to him to return; but the traitor may count on the love of none,
and as Ranma's betraying his love lost him all Ukyo's betraying her
friend in turn cost her all

PARODY :
For Shampoo there can be no forgiveness for she had hugged Ranma,
naked, in the bath. She had committed the unthinkable. She had driven
Ranma from Akane's heart! Oh, the horror! Oh, what shall she tell her
great-great-grandmother? Ranma whacks Shampoo on the head, cursing her for
the slutty whore she really is and runs off after Akane, still naked,
pleading for Akane to take him back, to forgive him. But Akane will never,
ever, ever, ever, ever come back, not in a trillion years.

Now we see Ukyo retreating to her room after her entreaties go
unheard, cursing her fortune and the pride and lust that robbed her of
Ranma at last, and led to both of them being cast out into the dark where
there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, deprived forever of the light of
love.

PARODY :
"Lo and behold, Shampoo was cast out into the dark! She shall weep
and gnash her teeth for just trying to get the man of her dreams, an
unpardonable sin......"

The thought of Ukyo being cast out into the dark, or worse, burnt at
the stake like a daughter of Satan, as it has been recommended to me
should be done to Shampoo, does not give me pleasure, as it seems to to a
few; but it is hard to see how it might be reasonably avoided. It is not
always appreciated that her desire for Ranma's happiness is not all that
rives her, and that alone will at last bring her down.

        Burnt...at the stake...like a daughter...of Happosai? For what?
Trying to love her childhood friend? Getting someone on the rebound is not
some sin that would get her flamed alive on a stake, bound with steel wires
that will heat up and cut into her flesh, screaming as the flames consume
her, live. (I felt I had to add that in) I know you don't share the 'burn
her alive' view but I just wanted to show the effects of extremism - and how
terrible it can sound.

Come on, she was just caught up in the moment, just like Ranchan
was, and she is cute, and she wants Ranma. She is NOT as you portrayed her.
The point of my story was not to portray her as a bitch. I happen to share
the view that Ukyo is, at heart, a kind person and receptive to others' pain.
