Well, I think that's the *intent* of the fic: *what if* Ranma was
this type?

Aww, Damn! If that isn't one of the most self-centered statements
I have heard for quite some time!
Look, Ramon, you can think about suicide any way you want; you
may declare it bad, sinful, or whatever; You can claim that your
view of it is the only correct one, and for all I care you can
argue it until you are blue in your face - But YOU CAN *NOT* claim
that everybody in the world holds the same view, no matter how
much you wish it, because the clear majority of the Japanese
people obviously doesn't.
"Suicide is suicide", what kind of statement is that? Dogmatic
assertion doesn't make it any truer - it only betrays your
inability to grasp that other cultures may have value systems that
differ from yours. You can think about their values what you
like, but don't say they don't exist.
Phew, sorry to explode like this. You touched one of my sore
points there.
I do agree that the normal continuity characters would not want
the events detailed in the fic to happen, but that is the *basis*
of the fic, as I see it. To explore what could have happened in a
more traditional surrounding (which are, I gather, still the rule
rather than the exception).

I have the world's largest collection of seashells. I keep it on
all the beaches of the world. Perhaps you've seen it.
Dude, this is becoming a spam but I just have to reply to this. There
are so many wrong things in the world. It may take some form of cruelty
or another but it is what it is. It may be justified one way or
enshroud with sacredness but at the end it is a life.
I feel very strongly about this topic and I imagine your side as well.
I would love to read more fics but if you are willing to carry on this
debate, lets continue it through email.
So that is my opinion.
