	They may hate each other on a momentary basis.  So, at the given
instant they fight, yes.  But after they have time to think of it, they
always manage to work out, while not most efficiently, whatever
differences they had between them.

Many divorcing couples don't hate each other.  But, they have differences 
that they can't seem to work out, and so decide to end the relationship.

Just thought that I'd like to mention that I liked Zen's story, despite
the fact that he made Ranma give up to easily. He also made Akane a HELL
of a lot meaner than usual too. Although it's all very IC, I doubt if
Ranma would give up on Akane that easier, and I'm sure Akane would've
realised just what Ranma was asking her too...

	Because if it is IC then Ranma would never give up on Akane.  All in
all, it is fair enough with the character OOC to make the story work. 
Of course, I'm going to be forever muffed about Akane's actions in
Winding Road...

I'll be honest: as the story stands, my OOC flag is up.  But, it is very 
close to going down.  The only scene I really have a problem with is the 
Ranma-Akane fight, in which I think Akane says a few things that she 
would never say even during a fight.  I have spoken to him on this, and 
he is trying to find a viable alternative.  And yes, that alternative 
does exist.
