I'm not sure, but from all the pictures i've seen in the Japanese manga of
Ukyou's okonomiyakiya, there seems to be just a room and the
counter/griddle. It therefore gets confusing when fic writers say "Ukyou
showed her guest to a booth..." Zen accounted for this in *Long and
Winding
Road*, but it seems to usually be taken for granted for some reason that
Ukyou has put booths into the walls of her restaraunt. I don't know. If i'm
wrong, please quietly set me right. sweet dreams.

Actually, I think you're right, but hey.  It's not like we're paying anyone to
write fanfics, so I figure a little artistic license is allowed.  Besides, all of
the okonomiyakiya I've been in had booths, if not always the big counter. 
Perhaps we just don't see it (or maybe we do, but I don't recall)
