As a general lurker, I agree with this opinion that awards seem kind of
superfluous.  You'd think it'd make the people that don't get an "award"
feel like their work wasn't worthwhile which would result in few fics
being written/posted or less variety in fics. (which, personally, would
really suck)  Also, IMHO, it wastes space.  If you like it, C&C it either
privately to the author or publically to the list.  Please don't just post
awards and award listings to the list.

Ashura <-- someone who's inbox got "confiscated" for taking up to much
space on the server without even reaching the max for the mailspool quota
(and yes, there's a bit of bitterness in there)
