   Allow me to be the first to say, "Hey, can I have a copy of Parts 1 & 2?!"

I'd like to suggest to the members of the list that when a new chapter
of an existing fanfic comes in, and you want the preceeding copies,
the first thing to do is to just ask the author....

Only after that fails in a couple of days, or if you're trying to
recover after a disk crash or what have you, and you don't know the
author's email addres, should you send a request to everyone on the list.
