Hi.

I am currently involved in running the next UK annual anime convention,
Shinnenkai, to be held at Heathrow on 3-5 Jan 1997. While a lot of 
anime fans read fanfics, many don't know about them, or would like 
more information.

So, I KNOW there are some people on the list here from the UK or 
Europe, and I would like to know if you are coming. Reason is, if people
are prepared to I can arrange an informal panel to talk/chat/inform about 
the art, care & feeding of fanfics (AND you get a free drink!! : )
You dont have to worry about this, it would simply be a panel discussion 
where you could talk about & answer Q's on fanfiction et al, no
 preparation required.

The next con meeting is on Sunday, & I would like to arrange it then.
(Sorry about the short notice, but I'm currently trying to set up about 
250 hours of anime videos/LD's to show over a 50-hour convention_)

Even if we dont hold the panel, we can get together & chat.
Also, if things go to plan we will have a compuer room, & internet 
connections for about 10 machines, so you can even demo the 
talked-about fiction at the con.

 you them *shameless plug for Europe's biggest anime con, with by 
FAR the biggest video program!!!)

Oh, and for you in the US - the con is at Heathrow Airport, 10 min by 
courtesy bus from the main terminal - could I make it ANY easier for 
you to come over! *grin*
