I'm sorry to have assumed the worst without waiting
for explanation, but I have encountered the annoying "America is
the world" philosophy a few times to often on the net.

You mean we're not? ^_-
But seriously, folks, no we're not. And this Chomsky-ite leftist is
one of the last people who would think that we were. But realistically
I did not think there would be enough volume of FFML people outside of
North America to make actual maps there worthwhile. The purpose of the
map is to help people get together, so it seemed sorta pointless to
have a European map if there would only be 2-3 people on it in
different countries.
I don't recall this as having been announced from the start, and if I
had been proven wrong I'd surely have changed plans to include more
maps.
I will still put in text listings of people and locations with E-mail
links for anyone who wants to be in this, North American or not. BTW,
it's not just people in the U.S., there are quite a few Canadians on
the map.
Oo! I wanna help! (gets out a globe and starts to stick pins in it..) (the
globe, having been one of those inflatable beach ball thingies, promptly
deflates @_@) Oopsies.... ^^;;
Well, anyhow (yes, I do have something important to say) I think what the
guy who was making the map was trying to theorize (albeit maybe slightly
wrongly) was that a good amount of the users on the ffml seem to be in
contenental north america. Atually, I think it's kinda concentrated in
Canada and Australia and the UK too.. But still, "chomsky-ite leftist"? Aiyah :P
Ja! Off to slay more pizzas (well, ravioli actually)
