Things are fairly quiet on the FFML, with Thanksgiving influencing a large
portion of the list.
Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to talk to you on behalf
of fanfiction public television. You may not realize it, but there are
several authors out there who, without our support, would not be able to
continue the fanfics you love so much. Imagine a world without Bridget
Engman's Flambe, without Marisa Price's Lesson in Love. Both of these
fanfics would not have been possible without the continued support of
fanfiction public television. Just e-mail: fanfic@fanfic.com and you
could be helping hundreds of authors less fortunate than yourself.
Please, make that posting. Without your support, Jamie Wilde's Chasing
the Wind Part 10 will never see the light of day. Without your help,
Moonlight and Cherry Pie will remain incomplete. Give generously, post to
fanfic@fanfic.com.
You don't realize how much your continued support means to these authors.
We have a quote from James Bateman who states that, without the support
of fanfiction public television, The Long and Winding Road would have died
on the vine, would have gone the way of Sean Gaffney's Bosom Buddies, of
Richard Lawson's The Missing Ingredient. Do you want this to happen? Then
please, go to your computer and e-mail fanfic@fanfic.com.
For a mere post of 10 lines, we will be able to get you the first draft
of RpM's classic The Pursuit of Happiness. This Alpha version will not
be available anywhere else, it's only available through those of us at
fanfiction public television.
We don't have much time, we're about to go back to your regularly scheduled
fanfics. Please, help us to make fanfiction public television a place where
authors do not have to fear the spam threads. With your help, it can become
the sharing community it has been. But only if you continue to post to
fanfic@fanfic.com. Give generously, please, go to your computer --
