Mega Tokyo, 2033.

It was a night to remember.  It was a night where hell came crashing
down for Priss Asagiri.  It was the night Silvie died, at Priss's own
hand.

Then, in a brilliant flash of light, the Being appeared.

<I'll not goof up, like last time.  I won't waste my second chance at
life.  Tonight, I'll save Silvie's life, and have Priss fall madly in
love with me!>  the being thought.  <Tonight, I shall prove my
supremacy!>

"BWAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Tonight, events once set in stone would change.  But would it be for the
better?

<My god!  That thing's unbelievable!>  Priss thought, as she engaged the
DD yet again.  So far the she, nor the rest of the Knight Sabers, were
having any success.  When they learned of the "special package" the DD
carried, their fight became more than a threat to just their lives, but
the lives of everyone in the city.

And the countdown was approaching zero.

<Damnation!  Everything's occurring too fast!  Where are they?>

The Being had been searching for the battle for the past three minutes.

<If I don't find them soon, this will all be pointless, so where are
they?>  The Being scanned the city once more.  <Ah...There they are! 
Now, I need to wait for the right moment.>

As the fight progressed, Silvie finally gained enough control to open
the cockpit of the DD.  The injury was bad, triggering the blood-lust,
but not enough to kill her.   However, the J-1 had long since decided it
was bad enough.

Needless to say, when the cockpit opened, Priss was shocked.  <No,
please, anyone but HER!  Not Silvie!  She can't be the pilot!>

"Silvie, why?"  Priss cried.

"Priss?!?  I can't believe it's you!  Priss, for God's sake, please
shoot me!  Please!"  Silvie begged.

The J-1, sensing Priss's presence, swung its arm at her and her
moteroid.  Priss dodged, missing the arm by centimeters.

"I...I can't!  I can't shoot you!"

"Priss.  If you don't, everyone will die!  Please, kill me!"

Silya and Linna took the attack up to the DD, distracting it from
Priss.  Both were knocked back before they could even reach Silvie. 
Priss used every second to prepare her assault.

"Silvie!!!!"

The DD turned toward Priss, just as she, with her moteroid, leapt for
the DD.  The DD turned its gatling gun toward her and fired.  The
resulting explosion  obscured her from sight.

"Priss!!!!"

Priss came out of the explosion, intact, with her rail gun aimed right
for Silvie's heart.

"Silvie!!!!!!!!!!!"

<NOW!>  the Being thought, and teleported in front of Silvie, right as
Priss fired her rail gun.  The spike flew out, and slammed into
he?/she?/it?  propelling the Being into Silvie.

The blood thirst took control of Silvie, and she bit into the Being,
draining he?/she?/it? of his life force...and his power.

<This isn't what I meant to happen...but at least I saved Silvie.>  The
being thought, as it lay dying in Silvie's arms.  <I just can't help but
think I forgot something...Now what could it be?  Oh NO!  The BOMB!>

Right then, the 100 kiloton neutron bomb detonated, wiping out all life
in Mega Tokyo, except for one person.

The line to Enma-sama was normally long.  This time, however, millions
of souls suddenly appeared, causing a massive overload in the soul
destiny office, and giving Enma-sama quite a headache.  Enma-sama
decided to get some revenge on the soul of the one who caused this mess.

<I'm stuck here again, without my powers now.  I REALLY screwed over
this time...> the Being thought.

"FOR ALL SOULS WHO HAVE ARIVED FROM MEGA TOKYO, I HAVE AN ANOUNCEMENT. 
IF YOU'RE CURIOUS AS TO WHY YOU ARE QUITE SUDDENLY DEAD, YOU HAVE ONE
PERSON TO BLAME.  HIM!"  Enma-sama announced, as he pointed toward the
Being.

The Being only had one thought before the souls converged on him. 
<UH-OH....>

The sounds of his screams could be heard all the way back to Earth.

Meanwhile, in the crater that was once Mega Tokyo, Silvie created
herself a chair, and sat down.

<Now, let's see what I can do with this power...>
