I agree, nice points made, nice essay.

I will, however, continue to replace Ryoga with Ryouga and
Ukyo with Ukyou. Just a thing I do.

What, change Ryoga to Ryouga, or bait Richard?

Or both?

:) Don't worry, I just bask in the knowledge that I'm just as correct
in my usage as you are. Perhaps even more so. :)

Ahh..the humble beginnings to what might be an everlasting flame war if
people let happen...Of course I find these points to be really mute, I
really don't have the time or resources to change a simple 'o' to 'ou' or
vice versa, no matter how much I dislike the romanization. I just accept
it, and as long as it's an unresonable change I live with. Hell I've read
and enjoyed stories that have romanized Mousse in Moosse. If your going to
complain about the romanization in a fic then maybe your reading the fic
for the wrong reasons...

Unless you hate the Viz translation..(Checkers...GRRRRRR!!!!!) or hate
dub's in general (SM USA..Hate SM USA names..) or maybe somebody wants to
restart the Celia/Sylia romanization debate that happened long before I
joined thenet...
