Well, the list has been acting *really* screwy lately for me.  Just this
morning, I logged in with 50 new messages.  Not too bad, I thought, and
started reading (read "deleting") them.  Delete...delete...delete...you
have 36 new messages!  Ugh...delete.delete...delete...you have 20 new
messages!  Well, you get the picture.  I now have 150 messages, and
they're still coming.  I think.  @_@
